JESUS MOLINA

Colombian pianist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Jesus Molina is redefining what it means to be a modern virtuoso—blending elite musicianship with forward-thinking electronic production and global influences.

A Berklee College of Music graduate and Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation scholarship recipient, Molina first gained recognition for his extraordinary technical ability and deeply expressive playing, drawing inspiration from legends like Oscar Peterson, Chick Corea, and Art Tatum. But rather than remain within those boundaries, he has steadily expanded his sound into something more immersive, rhythmic, and globally minded.

His latest single, “Chika I Funk,” released through Art House Records April 30, 2026 marks a pivotal step in that evolution.

Built from a process that begins in silence and intuition rather than structure, Molina approaches music as a form of channeling—allowing ideas to surface organically before shaping them into fully realized productions. What starts on piano or guitar develops into layered compositions driven by groove, texture, and energy, combining live instrumentation with modern tools and performance-ready DJ systems.

“Chika I Funk” embodies that philosophy. Created in collaboration with acclaimed producer Julio Reyes Copello, and featuring vocalists Paola Guanche and Pablo Larrañaga, the track merges sophisticated harmonic language with a pulse designed for movement—bridging the gap between virtuosity and the dancefloor.

While Molina’s sound continues to evolve, his foundation remains intact. His music still carries the harmonic depth and emotional sensitivity shaped by years of study, now amplified through a broader sonic palette. As he moves into this new chapter, he is not stepping away from his roots—he is expanding them.

Beyond the studio, Molina has built a global audience through live performance and education, reaching students and music fans worldwide while continuing to develop as both an artist and performer. With “Chika I Funk,” he introduces a sound that is more rhythmic, more expansive, and more aligned with the energy of today’s global music landscape.

This is not a departure—it’s a progression.

And it signals the beginning of a new phase in Jesus Molina’s career.
